As CEO of Aurea, Scott leads our executive team in defining our mission and strategy – which he balances with his passion for spending time with clients, understanding their business objectives and ensuring our solutions are designed to deliver success. Prior to Aurea, Scott served as the President and CEO of Artemis International, a global project and portfolio management software company serving hundreds of Global 2000 companies across the world. Under his leadership, Artemis arrested a multi-year trend of revenue decline with three consecutive years of double-digit growth while also tripling profitability. In 2012, Scott led Artemis through the successful acquisition and integration of Accept Corporation, a SAAS-based product planning software company.
President and Chief Revenue Officer
As President and Chief Revenue Officer, Ben believes in creating customer value relentlessly. While other software companies chase revenue at all costs, Ben focuses on building a highly engaged, inspired customer base. He directs our commercial team to focus on “we,” only closing deals that create long-term value for both our customers and our company. He’s an expert at aligning and inspiring a 100% remote workforce, taking bold action to continuously improve CSAT, and helping our customers to do the same. Under Scott Brighton’s leadership, Ben has helped Aurea grow from 250 customers to over 4000 — creating the frameworks that simplify and connect every aspect of our business (from processes to people).
Chief Customer Officer
Eric was part of the leadership team that launched Aurea in 2012. Following eight years as Chief Marketing Officer, Eric assumed the role of Chief Customer Officer – ensuring durable growth and sustainable success at our largest and most strategic enterprise customers in financial services, insurance, healthcare, technology and energy.
Before joining Aurea, Eric was President of Woodnote Marketing, a privately held marketing and business consultancy, serving CEOs and boards at mid-size growth technology firms. Previously, Eric led Marketing for Dell’s $8BN Consumer and Small & Medium business units, following five years as Chief Marketing Officer at Trilogy, one of the world’s largest, privately held software companies, and a decade at Omnicom advertising agency BBDO.
Chief Product Officer
Alan Fletcher is the Chief Product Officer at Aurea, responsible for product strategy and product management across the entire portfolio. A career-long product visionary and evangelist, Alan is passionate about leveraging technology to build and deliver enterprise business applications that provide true value to the customers.
Prior to joining Aurea, Alan successfully sold his company to account-based marketing software firm Demandbase, where he also served as Chief Product Officer leading all product and engineering for the company. Previously, he spent more than 20 years in a variety of senior executive roles at Oracle Corporation spanning consulting, product, engineering and support.
Chief Operating Officer
Barry Fougere is the Chief Operating Officer of Aurea, responsible for the Customer Success, Professional Services and Support organizations. Barry’s passion for helping customers achieve their business and digital transformation objectives stems from a career owning those decisions as an executive operator and management consulting partner advising executives, boards and investors.
Prior to joining Aurea, he served as a Corporate Officer of ATNI, a $500M-revenue investment and holding group of communications, information technology and renewable energy portfolio companies. In addition to other CEO and COO roles in technology, industrial and business services companies, Barry spent more than a decade as a Partner with A.T. Kearney, Heidrick & Struggles and a boutique strategy consulting firm.
Chief Technology Officer
As Chief Technology Officer, Barry owns the challenge of unleashing the full potential of Aurea by building a world class Product Engineering & SaaS /Tech Ops team and the processes necessary to deliver a compelling product portfolio and real business value to our customers.
Barry is a customer centred technology leader who turns product strategies into engineering reality. He has created leading edge products for household name brands in highly competitive markets generating over $10 billion in value. Previous successes include delivering: 100+ consumer electronics products for Sharp, Philips and Motorola. Engineered Distributed solutions for Banking & Finance, Military & Emergency Services, EPOS & Retail, Healthcare and Telecoms sectors with Tier1 partners. He has also lead 3 Hi-tech companies which were bought by Openwave, Motorola and Intel respectively.
Chief People Officer
With over 15 years of experience in human resources, Karen Harrell is Aurea’s Chief People Officer. Prior to her role as Aurea’s CPO, Karen led human resources efforts at Wincor Nixdorf, Freescale Semiconductor and Trilogy where she designed programs to transform company culture and rollout corporate vision and values.
Chief Diversity Officer
Dionn Schaffner is Chief Diversity Officer at Aurea. Her mission is to launch Aurea’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) journey and to work with peer DEI officers across the customer base to jointly define the role technology will play in helping realize their commitment to creating diverse, equitable, and inclusive organizations.
Dionn’s experience in combining technology, people and processes to deliver impactful results through critical analysis, data-driven decisions and purposeful leadership spans over 25 years in various roles from software developer to management consultant to executive leadership. Most recently, she has shifted to a civic focus through non-profit board leadership and community advocacy to discover and implement ways to remove barriers and enable opportunities for those who have systemically lacked access and resources.
She is currently active in her community supporting youth and families in foster care as a board member for Foster Village and Chair of the Volunteer Council and a Guardian ad Litem for CASA of Travis County, creating opportunities and encouraging philanthropy as board member for Young Men’s Service League and Geri’s Locker, and advocating for diversity, equity and inclusion through her volunteer work on Leander ISD’s Equity and Diversity Committee, a Texas State Representative’s Anti-Racism Advisory Group and CASA’s legislative volunteers.
SVP Customer Success
Jaime Chambron is the Senior Vice President of Customer Success at Aurea, where she leads a team that drives value realization for customers through the strategic guidance and adoption of Aurea products and solutions. She brings over 20 years of experience in building, integrating and transforming customer success and service delivery organizations to embrace customer centricity while motivating, connecting and integrating diverse talent to accelerate customer achievement together.
Prior to Aurea, Jaime served as Vice President of Professional Services at Vista Equity owned Kibo Commerce, a unified commerce solution provider, where she established the partner enablement program and integrated numerous stand alone service functions into one customer focused team. Before this she established the Customer Operations function for IoT/Blockchain startup Filament. Post the $3b acquisition of Dell Services, Jaime led NTT DATA Service’s formation of a Customer Engagement Practice along with the launch of a new multi-million-dollar interactive Collaboration Center where her team co-created solutions with clients to disrupt the marketplace via the Adventure LabsSM methodology she created. She’s held other customer success and service leadership roles at RealPage, Ellucian and SunGard Higher Education.
Through her wealth of experience, she has grown into an extremely influential figure in the technology community. Most notably, she co-founded in 2002 the Alliance of Technology and Women, which is a non-profit that seeks to empower women in tech and leadership. Here she created a national program called “GREAT MINDS,” which today still focuses on helping steer young women to STEAM fields.
General Manager, Industry Transformation
Ranga Venkatesan is the General Manager for Industry Transformation at Aurea, responsible for leading a world-class solution delivery organization that is focused on delivering customer success. Under Ranga’s leadership, Aurea Services empowers clients to maximize the business value by leveraging Aurea’s products.
Prior to joining Aurea, Ranga was running the consulting practice at Trilogy Software. He was responsible for delivering class-leading services to F500 organizations in financial services and insurance industries.
General Manager, Aurea Unlimited
Taylor Sterling is Senior Vice President, Customer Marketing and GM of Unlimited at Aurea. Her focus is on building and delivering value to customers through education and adoption of both existing customer investments and portfolio expansion through Unlimited. Her team ensures alignment with customers through regular and direct communication designed to maximize awareness of products and services, help drive adoption, and deliver business success.
Taylor’s experience in marketing and customer management spans 15+ years. Most recently, Taylor managed global marketing and customer engagement at Cyan (acquired by Ciena). Previously, she led Account Management at marketing agency BNJ, servicing Fortune 500 companies focused on increasing customer success. Her career began at ACTIVE, the pioneer in web services for sporting events and non-profits, where she managed the company’s top 25 accounts.
General Manager of Intelligent Commerce
Mark Lukianchuk, GM of Intelligent Commerce, is a product executive and seasoned business operator with extensive P&L and customer-centric expertise. Mark brings both broad and deep experience to a team focused on enabling organizations to effectively acquire, retain, and service customers using differentiated market, competitive, and customer insights.
Mark’s background includes experience in startup, scale-up and mature portfolio product management, product strategy, product marketing, and general management. His vertical experience spans the product lifecycle of B2B enterprise-class FinTech, payments, healthcare, insurance, financial services, banking, manufacturing, travel & hospitality and retail solutions. A truly global executive, Mark has led teams and businesses located on 6 continents and 50+ countries.
